Description: Drostanolone propionate or more commonly, masteron, is an injectable anabolic agent well known in the world of bodybuilding, derived from dihydrotestosterone (DHT), differs from that in that it is modified with a 2-methyl group and this allows increasing its anabolic properties.
Medical uses: Its use in medicine was approved to treat breast cancer that could not be operated on women who had already passed menopause.
Non-medical uses: Drostanolone propionate is, or has been used, for physique- and performance-enhancing purposes by competitive athletes, bodybuilders, and powerlifters.
Contraindications: Drostanolone propionate is contraindicated in conditions like Hepatic disease, Carcinoma of male breast, Cardiac disease and Prostate cancer.
Possible side effects: Side effects of Drostanolone propionate include symptoms of masculinization like acne, increased hair growth, voice changes, and increased sexual desire.

Pharmacology: Drostanolone propionate (or Maste100™) is a synthetic androgen, or male hormone, similar to testosterone. Drostanolone propionate works by attaching itself to androgen receptors; this causes it to interact with the parts of the cell involved in the making of proteins. It may cause an increase in the synthesis of some proteins or a decrease in the synthesis of others. These proteins have a variety of effects, including blocking the growth of some types of breast cancer cells, stimulating cells that cause male sexual characteristics, and stimulating the production of red blood cells.
